Preparing for LOCAL 14 show

It’s been some time since I’ve posted an entry here… I must confess that I still don’t know what I’m doing in the world of blogging! I’ve been charmed and drawn in by other blogs and would love to create a place that friends would like to visit, but it takes time and know-how, and I don’t have much of either right now. The know-how will COME with time, I think, and much of my time has been devoted to work in the studio.

Lately I’ve been focusing on getting lots of books and pins made for my biggest show of the year, the LOCAL 14 Art Show & Sale, coming up October 2-5. That’s just a few weeks away! This will be the 41st year for the LOCAL 14 show, held at the World Forestry Center, right across from the zoo. If you’ve never been before, I highly recommend it! I will try to attach an e-postcard with more details (let’s see if I can remember how to do this…) You can also go to www.local14.org to get the scoop and check out the member and guest artist galleries. Lots of eye candy there!  :-)

Besides lots of time in the studio, my husband Bob and I have had a wonderful summer here at ‘Chez Zorko’ working out in the yard, growing veggies and flowers, and watching the birds visit our many feeding stations. Yesterday we ventured out to the West Linn Arts Festival. I’m not in that show (yet!) but some of my friends are. Great show!

Well, let’s see if I can attach that e-postcard, and I hope to see you at the show!
